Dear Secretary,
With reference to this blazer badge for the season 1951-52, it is my belief that it was purchased by John (Shony) Williams, a member of the illustrious front row of Gwyn (Strong) Thomas and Freddy (Flach) Evans the team’s captain, to commemorate the Quins record of not being beaten at home (Ground Record) that season.
If you wish to add this badge to your memorabilia, please accept with my blessing in memory of those Members of the Team of 50 years ago who are no longer with us.
