- Simon played his first game for the Quins 1st XV away to Glais on the 3rd September 1991.
- His father Gwilym and brothers Stephen, Phillip and Kevin have each also made more than 100 appearances for the Quins 1st XV.
- Played his last Quins 1st XV game away to Loughor on the 28th September 1994 in the first round of the Tovali Cup. Quins won by 21pts – 12 pts.
