Quins team named for last away game of the regular season

Carmarthen Quins take on RGC at Stadiwm Eirias on Saturday 28 March in their final away game of the regular Super Rygbi Cymru season.

Carmarthen Quins are currently sat in sixth position in the league table with 43 points, with RGC in seventh on 39 points.

As we edge towards to the business end of the season, and play-offs just around the corner, all teams are keen to ensure their place in the top six and in doing so avoid the Wild Card round.

There are eight changes to the Quins side from the one that took on Swansea at Carmarthen Park last Thursday.

Of the changes, seven are personnel and one is positional. Ilan Phillips moves from the right to the left wing with Scarlets’ Callum Woolley making a return to the starting VX, and Thomas Williams moves to the replacement’s bench.

Last week’s new half back partnership of Steff Jac Jones and Aron Hemmings has been replaced by Ifan Davies and Bowyn Clark.

In the pack Ifan James makes a return to the front row with Rhys Fawcett, Ryan Bean joins captain Lee Taylor in the second row, and Iestyn Richards and Ben Williams join Lewys Millin in the backrow.
