Richards and Millin top SRC stats charts

The Super Rygbi Cymru season may well be over for Carmarthen Quins for another year, however we still have time to take a look back at some of the strong performances seen throughout the season.

Carmarthen Quins reached the Super Rygbi Cymru quarter finals, missing out on a place in the semi-finals to table toppers Cardiff RFC.

As well producing some great performances and keeping the league dream alive through the Wildcard Round, we have also enjoyed standout performances from a number of Quins players this season.

Among the Quins players who feature in the standout stats of the season, from all teams, are Iestyn Richards and Lewys Millin.

Iestyn tops the dominant tackles chart with 22. He’s joined by three fellow Quins in the top 5, Lewys (17), Jac Howells (16), and Tom Phillips (15).

Lewys and Millin are top of the pile in tackles (Collision Dominance %). Lewys made 243 tackles with a collision dominance of 66% while Iestyn made 193 tackles and a collision dominance of 70%.

Lewys is third in Carries with 182, fourth with Turnovers Won (26), and is second for “Post Tackle” with 140. Captain Shaun Evans comes in in fifth place with 118.

Ryan Bean is top of the pile for “Work + Tackle” with 30 (31%) with Lewys Millin once again featuring in second place with 27 (11%).

Young outside half, and one of the players that has developed right through Quins’ minis and juniors, Elis Price is second in the table for Penalties successfully kicked. He kicked 14 with a success rate of 88%.
