Carmarthen Quins head to Pontypool Park on Saturday 4th October for the fourth round of the 2025-26 Super Rygbi Cymru season.
Quins head into Saturday game in fourth position in the league table, sat behind Ebbw Vale, Llandovery and Swansea.
With Storm Amy set to rage across the UK on Friday night, Quins will be hoping to whirl their way to back-to-back victory over Pooler after a three-try victory last Saturday. Loosehead prop Rhys Fawcett crossed the whitewash for a brace of tries whilst Scarlets winger Thomas Williams scored under the posts having chased a kick down field by centre Jac Howells.
Lyndon Lewis and his coaching team have made just one change the backline from last weekend, with Gabe McDonald coming in at inside centre which means a move across to outside centre for Jac Howells.
Three changes have been made to the pack. Connor Allen take his place at tighthead prop, Ryan Bean comes into the second row to partner Lee Taylor, whilst Iestyn Richards comes onto the blindside flank.
Scarlets tighthead prop Archer Holz is named on the replacements bench as he returns to action after a long-term virus.
Saturday’s opposition are currently sat at the bottom of the Super Rygbi Cymru table despite one victory from their opening three rounds.
Last season’s champions, Newport, are ahead in 9th with five points despite losing all four opening rounds, proving that try and losing-bonus points play a pivotal part in league standings.
