General Club Update

As our supporters will be aware  the clubhouse re-opened last week and we would like to thank you all for your patience as we endeavoured to serve you within the current guidelines but we hope you all enjoyed your visits as much as we enjoyed seeing you all.

The opening hours will remain the same for the foreseeable future but we will advise of any changes as and when they happen.

Whilst we may not be able to tell you yet when our Youth, Seconds or 1st XV’s will take the field to play a competitive game there is no shortage of summer sport that we will be showing live in the club.

Starting in June we will be giving our support to the Welsh Football Team as they embark on their European adventure starting with a game against Switzerland on 12th June followed by fixtures against Turkey (16th June) and Italy (20th June). Let us hope they can re-create the buzz of 2016 and go far in the competition.

We are also looking at the possibility of doing a live draw of the Q150 club during one the games so would encourage Members to attend but if they are unable to then we will endeavour to make the draw live on our Facebook page.

Then moving further on into July we have of course the British and Irish Lions Tour to South Africa. After lots of will it or wont it go ahead debate it has been decided it will. The tour commences on 26th Jun with a game against Japan in Murrayfield before the squad jet off to South Africa for the following fixtures:

I think we will all agree that this is going to be one of the toughest tours in history but we will be able to back the boys and get behind the squad at the clubhouse.

So while we wait for a return to action for our seniors we can all support the club by coming and watching a super summer of sport.

We cannot wait to see you.
