The Heart of Wales 7’s Series kicks off at Carmarthen Quins RFC on Saturday 7th June.
Please read the following important information (as already provided in the Tournament Rules) in respect of the safe and effective management of the event.
The postcode for the facilities is SA312JJ (Castell Pigyn Road, Abergwili, Carmarthen).
Food, Drink and Refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
Gates will Open for admission from 8am.
Car Parking is Free, and vehicles will be parked as follows:
Gate A – All Cars, Transits and SUV’s etc.
Please note: All buses and minibuses will need to disembark at this point to make their way through, bag checks, registration and spectator entrance.
Gate B – Large Coaches, Minibuses, Disabled, Emergency and Supply vehicles.
Officials, namely Organisers, Volunteers, Referees and Medical Staff will be required to park in the second field behind the Pavilion and will be directed to this location by stewards.
Spectator fees have been kept the same as last year, namely, £7 per adult and £3 for under 18’s, payable at the main gate. Minors will be given free entrance.
As in previous years, there will be a registration process, whereby 15 players and 3 Team Officials ONLY will be allowed free entry. Everybody else will need to pay the relevant spectator fees.
Bag Searches will be carried out at the entrance for the following purposes:
NO GLASS
NO ALCOHOL
NO DISPOSABLE BBQ’s
In addition, NO DOGS except Blind Dogs will be allowed on the grounds; any dogs left in cars will be at the owner’s risk.
Any unacceptable language or behaviour by ‘any person’ will result in them being asked to leave the site.
The above rules have been made abundantly clear in Tournament Rules provided to all clubs. Carmarthen Quins RFC have gone to considerable effort and expense to host this tournament for everyone’s enjoyment, so please do not abuse these simple instructions. Please respect our staff and facilities as you would at your own club and enjoy the day in the way it is intended.
