The club is shocked and saddened at the news that former player Ifan Phillips has recently been involved in an horrific road traffic accident and currently remains in a stable condition in hospital.
Ifan is the son of former Welsh International hooker Kevin Phillips and both father and son have represented the Quins over the years. Father Kevin wore the Quins shirt in the early 1990’s on 11 occasions while Ifan represented the club 16 times during the 2015/2016 season, the season in which Ifan also represented the Wales Under 20’s team gaining three caps against Italy, France and Ireland.
After leaving the Quins Ifan joined Neath where his skill, talent and work rate was soon picked up by his current club the Ospreys who he has represented 16 times.
An abrasive and strong player and character that surely runs in the family we all hope that Ifan makes a speedy recovery and every one at the club will have him and the family in their thoughts.
