The club is absolutely delighted to have been informed that 12 of the current Under 16’s squad have been invited to train with the Scarlets U16 East training squad.
It is a very proud day indeed not only for the mini and junior section but for the club as a whole and is testament to the success of the of the club. The following players will take their place at training this evening (19th April 2021) at Parc y Scarlets for another leg of their rugby journey.
Morgan Bending, Gethin Davies, Josh Elvy, Osian Jones, Ifan Knott, Guto Phillips, Owain Powell, Ben Proctor, Cai Thomas, Owain Thomas, Matthew Williams and Sion Yip.
Coaches of the age group Gary Evans, Wayne Proctor and Cen Powell are really proud of their achievements which reflect on the hard work and commitment over the years and they look forward to representing the Quins are Regional Age Grade Rugby.
6 of the players have been with the club since they started at under 7’s with the other 6 joining at junior rugby age.
It is not too late for anyone to join the Quins to re-start or start their rugby journey and with qualified coaches across all the age groups we believe that this is the tip of the iceberg for future successes that began with tag rugby and progressed annually.
