Things are hotting up at the top of the Super Rygbi Cymru league table after just three rounds of action.
Only three points separate teams from first to sixth with teams in second to fifth (Newport, RGC, Cardiff, Carmarthen Quins) all tied on 11 points.
This week’s second leg against Cardiff sees Carmarthen Quins head to the capital, and to Cardiff Arms Park, looking for a first win on the road this season.
Lock Lee Taylor will captain the Quins in a much changed starting XV after an action-packed opening three weeks to the new-look competition.
Connor Allen retains his place at tighthead prop and is joined in the front row by Rhys Fawcett and Sion Jones. Ryan Bean comes in to the second row alongside captain Taylor with an all-new back row in the shape of Iestyn Richards, Keanu Evans and Gethin Davies.
In the backline Aled Thomas remains as the experienced lynchpin at 10 with Lucca Setaro pairing with him at half back.
Gabe McDonald and Iestyn Gwilliam continue their centre partnership, Louis Rees and Iori Badham switch to the left wing and fullback respectively with Dylan Richards coming in on the right wing.
