The third round of Super Rygbi Cymru will see us welcome Cardiff RFC to the Park on Saturday, 28thSeptember, kick-off 2.30pm.
Club stalwart Aled Thomas returns at outside half, for the first time in five years, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to a young and exciting backline.
In the pack Connor Allen returns to the front row, Lee Taylor joins Josh Helps in the second row and Scarlets’ Ben Williams links up with captain Tom Phillips and Lewys Millin in the back row.
Speaking ahead of the game, Director of Rugby Steff Thomas said; “We’ve got an exciting young group of players, with an average age of just 23 for each of our games so far.
“At times last Saturday we were wasteful of chances and not clinical enough. Despite dominating the second half but couldn’t cross the line to score. We have to continue to work hard and be on top of our game, every game, to secure the all-important victories.
“Bringing a player of Aled’s calibre into the group will help these young players immensely, and we’re looking forward to seeing him back in Quins colours!”
