Williams and Leggatt-Jones show promise in opening U20 6Nations clash

Flanker Osian Williams and outside half Carwyn Leggatt-Jones showed great promise as they both won their first Wales U20 international cap, against England on Friday night (6 Feb 2026).

A strong first half performance from Wales, scoring 16 unanswered points against the home side at Northampton, wasn’t enough to seal the win with England too dominant in the second half.

Carwyn kicked a conversion and three penalties in the opening round of the 2026 Under 20s Six Nations campaign.

Wales will welcome France to Cardiff Arms Park on Friday 13 February, KO 20:00.
