The club is shocked to hear that a true Mighty Quin who has been a stalwart of the club for many many years recently suffered a heart attack and is currently recuperating at home.
Mrs Joan Beynon who has not only followed the Quins for many years but is the mother of five former players recently suffered a heart attack that required a stay in hospital and every one at the club would like to send on their best wishes for a speedy and full recovery.
Joan is of course mother to Wayne Eldred (76 first team appearances), Simon Beynon (124 first team appearances), Steven Beynon (164 first team appearances), Philip Beynon (357 first team appearances) and Kevin Beynon (105 first team appearances) and of course is wife of a mighty clubman Gwilym who also captained the first XV and is a former Chairman of the club.
Joan has not only given advice to her own children but has been a stalwart for many past players of the club offering up her own advice which was always welcomed.
We hope that Gwilym and the boys are looking after you Joan and that you have a speedy recovery.
