Quins Hit The Road For a Cup Quarter Final

With the further lifting of restrictions this coming weekend the Quins head to Cardiff to take on the Capital side in the Quarter Final of the Premiership Cup.
This is the first game in front of a crowd this year and the first since the middle of December when the Quins beat off local rivals Llanelli in the park.
The Quins’ last outing was a frenetic game again away at Cardiff that saw us the visitors run out victors 27 points to 25. The Quins after a week off will be looking for the same endeavour and skill shown that week whilst Cardiff will be aiming for revenge after a loss on their home turf.
Last week Cardiff visited North Wales to take on RGC and after some early scores from RGC, Cardiff turned the screw and romped home 52 29 that will give them plenty of confidence for the Quins visit on Saturday.
The Quins have made a few changes in the side but will be confident in travelling to Cardiff where in knock out rugby everyone knows it is anyone’s game on the day.
Now is an opportune time to congratulate several players who since this season has started have joined the 100 club having made over 100 appearances for the Quins 1st XV:
Josh Batcup 101
Steffan Phillips 101
Lewys Millin 111
Dale Ford 113
All four are selected tomorrow so will add to that tally again. Congratulations from all at the club and a heartfelt thank you for your ongoing commitment and long may it continue.
