Welsh 7’s Series – Abergwili, Saturday 3rd June 2023
With the Carmarthen leg of the Welsh 7’s Series fast approaching, we are extremely pleased to announce the Quins 1st XV have entered the Elite tournament, and the Youth will be seeking to extend their highly successful season by competing in the U18 male tournament.
There are currently 10 Elite Teams, 10 Youth Teams and 6 Girls Teams competing from 9am until 7pm, providing a whole day of exciting 7’s rugby on 3 separate pitches. More information on the teams competing will be published as we get nearer the 3rd of June.
There will be food outlets in the form of Pizza’s and a Hog Roast, and the pavilion kitchen will be open to provide alternatives such as burgers and chips etc.
There will be plenty of refreshments from the bar, with music and tournament information provided throughout the day.
All proceeds will be reinvested in the maintenance and development of the facilities at Abergwili to support existing and future generations of young rugby players in our communities. The tournament is a great day out and it’s important our members, families, and friends come along and support not just the teams on the field but the future of the Quins Club as a whole.
